All dogs on the Orihuela Costa must have a chip implanted by a vet , all must be registered with the local department of health .

Any dog being picked up by the dog catcher that is not chipped will be offered for adoption or maybe put to sleep.

Dogs cannot be kept on patios , balconies or solaria if they disturb neighbours,
